The JOYOR S5 ABE comes with a choice of 13 or 26 Ah; the T6E ABE offers 18 or 26 Ah. For either model, the larger battery version adds CHF 85 to the product price. The T6E also has a different shipping charge. Compare battery, vehicle weight and total price rather than the “Pro” name alone.
Four versions and their delivered prices
These totals apply to one scooter shipped within Switzerland, before discount codes. Product and shipping prices are listed separately.
- S5 ABE, 48 V / 13 Ah: CHF 529 + CHF 36 shipping = CHF 565. Vehicle weight including battery: 21 kg.
- S5 Pro ABE, 48 V / 26 Ah: CHF 614 + CHF 36 shipping = CHF 650. Vehicle weight including battery: 25 kg.
- T6E ABE, 48 V / 18 Ah: CHF 729 + CHF 36 shipping = CHF 765. Vehicle weight including battery: 26 kg.
- T6E Pro ABE, 48 V / 26 Ah: CHF 814 + CHF 59 shipping = CHF 873. Vehicle weight including battery: 28 kg.
The S5 difference including shipping remains CHF 85. For the T6E it is CHF 108: CHF 85 for the larger version and CHF 23 extra shipping. With free collection in Niederhasli, the product-price difference stays CHF 85. Collection requires our confirmation that the order is ready and an appointment.
More battery capacity or less weight?
All four versions use a 48 V battery. At the same nominal voltage, more amp-hours mean more nominal battery energy. The S5’s stated capacity doubles from 13 to 26 Ah, while vehicle weight rises by 4 kg. The T6E goes from the advertised 18 Ah to 26 Ah and adds 2 kg.
More capacity does not guarantee a particular distance. Rider weight, slopes, temperature, tyre pressure and riding style affect actual range. The weights above refer to the scooter with its battery, not its shipping package.
- You need to carry the scooter: start with vehicle weight and your transport route. The 13 Ah S5 is the lightest of these four versions.
- You want more energy reserve: consider the relevant 26 Ah Pro version and allow for its extra weight.
- You are comparing the two 26 Ah models: equal battery capacity does not make the S5 and T6E identical vehicles. Compare dimensions, equipment and weight too.
Shared features and model differences
The ABE versions described have a 500 W single motor and are limited to 20 km/h. Their documented equipment includes front and rear suspension and two mechanical disc brakes. Indicators are also documented for the T6E. Check the linked product pages for exact dimensions and equipment.
“Pro” refers here to the factory 26 Ah version. Do not confuse the T6E ABE with the standard JOYOR T6 with a 600 W motor: they are different versions.
Use in Switzerland
A 20 km/h limit and German ABE do not automatically establish Swiss road approval. Full confirmation for the specific supplied versions is still outstanding. Rydova therefore does not yet promise approval of these ABE models for Swiss public roads.
