KuKirin G4 or G3 Pro? A comparison for Switzerland

KuKirin G4 – Einzelmotor-Modell im Vergleich mit dem G3 Pro

Choosing between the KuKirin G4 and G3 Pro? The main difference is the drive system. The G4 combines one 2000 W motor with 11-inch tyres. The G3 Pro has two 1200 W motors, 10-inch tyres and hydraulic disc brakes. Your budget, available space and transport arrangements also matter.

Use in Switzerland: Neither of these versions is approved for public traffic areas. Rydova offers them for private land that is not accessible to the public, with the owner's permission.

60 V or 52 V: which battery is larger?

Voltage alone does not answer this question. Multiplying the stated voltage by the ampere-hour rating gives about 1200 Wh for the G4 and 1196 Wh for the G3 Pro. Their calculated nominal energy is therefore almost identical. This calculation is based on rated specifications, not a measurement of usable energy.

Range figures are not a guarantee for your ride. Rider weight, temperature, hills, surface and riding style affect the result. Without a comparable riding test, the stated 75 km and 80 km figures do not establish a reliable range advantage.

When does the KuKirin G4 make sense?

Consider the G4 if you prefer a single motor and larger tyres. According to the specifications, it weighs around 2.6 kg less than the G3 Pro, but is longer and wider when unfolded. Measure your storage space and the room available in your vehicle. At about 37 kg, the G4 remains heavy to carry up stairs regularly.

When should you consider the KuKirin G3 Pro?

The G3 Pro may be a better fit if you specifically want dual motors and hydraulic disc brakes. Allow for its higher weight. Combined motor wattage alone does not tell you how well it will suit your terrain: handling, surface and your experience also matter.

Three questions before you decide

  1. Where will you ride? Neither offered model is suitable for a public-road commute to work or school in Switzerland.
  2. How will you transport it? Allow for 37 kg or 39.6 kg. The table gives unfolded dimensions; ask us for the folded dimensions relevant to your transport before buying.
  3. What equipment do you need? Weigh up the G4's single motor and 11-inch tyres against the G3 Pro's dual motors and hydraulic brakes. Compare current final prices on the product pages.
