Terms of service
Shipping within Switzerland: CHF 36 or CHF 59 per scooter, depending on the model and battery version. The applicable cost is shown on the product page and under Shipping and collection. Free collection in Niederhasli is available by appointment after we confirm the order is ready.
1. Scope and seller
These general terms apply to orders placed in the rydova.ch online shop. The seller and contracting party is:
Rydova
Owner: Konstantinos Poimenidis
Heiselstrasse 120
8155 Niederhasli
Switzerland
Email: support@rydova.ch
Website: rydova.ch
Different arrangements apply only with Rydova’s express written confirmation. The version published at the time of ordering applies to the order. Mandatory law is reserved.
2. Orders and contract formation
Product listings are an invitation to order. Completing checkout submits a binding order. Beforehand, you can check and correct products, quantities, addresses and payment method. The automatic acknowledgement initially confirms receipt only. The contract is formed by Rydova’s express acceptance, shipment or acceptance of payment. Rydova may reject an order before acceptance in cases of unavailability, obvious pricing errors or justified suspicion of abuse; amounts already received are then refunded.
Minors need the required consent of their legal representative. Customer account credentials must be kept confidential.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in Swiss francs (CHF). Prices shown when ordering are decisive. Shipping costs are stated separately before checkout completion. The payment methods offered at checkout apply. Payment is due when ordering unless otherwise agreed. Discounts and vouchers apply under their stated conditions.
4. Shipping, delivery time and collection
The following delivery process applies to shippable models: Rydova delivers within Switzerland. Scooters are sourced from the supplier after ordering, delivered first to Rydova and then sent to you. For available models, estimated delivery to you is 3–8 working days after receipt of the order and confirmed payment. We will inform you of delays. Binding fixed dates require express written confirmation. Statutory rights in the event of delayed delivery remain unaffected.
- CHF 36 shipping per scooter: KuKirin G2, KuKirin G2 Pro ABE, JOYOR S5 ABE with 13 or 26 Ah, JOYOR T6E ABE with 18 Ah, and JOYOR S8.
- CHF 59 shipping per scooter: JOYOR T6, JOYOR T6E Pro ABE with 26 Ah, and all other models.
For multiple scooters, shipping costs are added per unit. Collection at the above address in Niederhasli is free after confirmation that the order is ready and by prior appointment. Further details are in our Shipping policy.
Please ensure delivery details are correct. If delivery fails due to an error on your part, actual additional delivery or return transport costs may be charged within legal limits.
5. Voluntary cancellation
Voluntary cancellation is possible only with Rydova’s written confirmation while the order has not yet been processed, packed, dispatched or placed with the supplier. Under the existing policy, a significant, understandable reason is required, such as an accidental duplicate order. A change of mind alone creates no entitlement. Statutory withdrawal and other rights remain unaffected.
6. Voluntary returns and refunds
Switzerland has no general statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. You may request a voluntary return within 14 days of receiving the goods request. This requires Rydova’s written approval before return.
Goods must be unused, undamaged and complete in original packaging with all accessories. Exclusions include used, assembled or ridden, damaged, dirty or incomplete products, individually ordered or specially sourced products, installed spare parts, used, opened, damaged or incorrectly stored batteries, and products with tuning, modifications or tampering, or without original packaging and complete accessories.
For accepted voluntary returns, a handling and restocking fee of 10% of the product price is deducted. You pay return shipping unless otherwise agreed in writing. Original shipping and other actual fees are not refunded under the existing return policy. Reasonable additional deductions may apply to impaired goods accepted exceptionally. After receipt and inspection, refunds are generally made to the original payment method. Details are in our Returns and refund policy.
These voluntary return terms do not limit statutory rights relating to defects; in particular, the 14-day period, original-packaging requirement and 10% fee do not apply to statutory defect claims.
7. Statutory rights relating to defects
Statutory rights relating to defects remain unaffected. Inspect goods upon receipt and report visible defects or incorrect deliveries promptly, and hidden defects after discovery, in writing to support@rydova.ch. Include the order number and defect description and, where possible, photos, videos and serial number. Document transport damage together with packaging and shipping label. Legal conditions, deadlines and claims are governed by applicable law.
Voluntary Rydova warranty
In addition to statutory defect rights, Rydova provides a voluntary warranty on scooters bought from Rydova for 2 years from receipt of the goods for material and manufacturing defects.
Excluded are normal wear and wear parts, normal battery ageing or capacity loss, fall and accident damage, and damage due to misuse, lack of maintenance, incorrect charging or storage, overloading, water exposure outside manufacturer specifications, tuning, tampering, technical modifications and unauthorised or improper repairs.
Report a warranty claim to support@rydova.ch with the order number, defect description, serial number if available, and photos or videos. After assessment, the case is handled through repair, spare parts, replacement delivery or another appropriate solution. Statutory rights relating to defects remain unaffected. Any manufacturer’s warranty is governed by the manufacturer’s separate terms.
8. Product information and safe use
Range, power and charging-time figures are based on the respective manufacturer’s specifications and may vary with rider weight, temperature, terrain, riding style, battery condition and maintenance. Agreed product characteristics and statutory rights relating to defects remain decisive.
Observe each model’s road-approval information. Not every model offered is approved for public road use; such models may only be used in permitted areas, such as suitable private land. Follow the manual and traffic, age, equipment and safety rules. Stop using a visibly damaged or unsafe product. Use, charge and store batteries and chargers according to manufacturer instructions.
9. Liability
Liability is governed by law. To the extent legally permitted, liability for indirect damage and lost profits is excluded. In particular, liability for intent and gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory product liability and statutory defect rights remain unaffected.
10. Privacy and shop use
Information on personal data processing is available in our Privacy policy. The shop must not be used for fraud, unlawful orders, use of another person’s payment details or technical attacks. Operators of linked third-party websites are responsible for their content.
11. Applicable law and final provisions
Swiss law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules and statutory jurisdictions remain reserved. Where permitted, jurisdiction is at Rydova’s registered office in Switzerland. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. Changes to these terms apply to future orders.
Delivery time for the new ABE versions
For KuKirin G2 Pro ABE, JOYOR S5 ABE with 13 or 26 Ah and JOYOR T6E ABE with 18 or 26 Ah, estimated delivery is 3–8 working days after receipt of the order and confirmed payment. Models are sourced after ordering. Being available to order does not mean physical stock is held at Rydova.
